1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using expressdocks.com and any associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the Service.

2. Description of Service

ExpressDocks provides information about and facilitates the purchase of custom aluminum floating dock systems, gangways, and related marine products. Our Service includes our website, 3D dock designer/configurator, AI chat assistant (Wade), quote request system, and customer communications.

3. Quotes and Orders

• Estimates: All quotes and estimates provided are non-binding until a formal purchase agreement is executed.
• Deposits: A 50% deposit is required to begin production on residential dock orders. A 35% deposit is required for boat orders. Deposits are non-refundable once manufacturing has commenced.
• Payment: We accept payment via Wire Transfer, Zelle, Check, and Stripe. Payment instructions are included in your quote confirmation.
• Lead Times: Estimated production and delivery lead times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by supplier issues, shipping carriers, weather, or other factors beyond our control.
• Custom Orders: All dock systems are custom-manufactured to your specifications. Changes to orders after manufacturing has begun may incur additional charges.

4. Warranty

ExpressDocks offers a 50-year limited warranty on residential aluminum dock systems and a 40-year limited warranty on commercial systems against structural defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, improper installation, natural disasters, vandalism, or failure to follow care instructions. Full warranty terms are provided with your purchase documentation.

5. Shipping and Delivery

• We ship to the contiguous United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.
• Delivery is to the nearest accessible location at your property (typically driveway or curbside). We do not provide installation services.
• Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery. Inspect all shipments upon arrival and report any damage within 48 hours.
• Shipping costs and carriers are determined at the time of order based on your location and order size.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, designs, logos, the 3D dock configurator, and the Wade chat assistant — is the property of ExpressDocks and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Chat Assistant (Wade)

Our AI-powered chat assistant Wade is provided for informational and lead-assistance purposes only. Responses from Wade do not constitute a binding quote, legal advice, or engineering guidance. Always confirm final specifications and pricing with our sales team before placing an order.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without written permission
• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Use the Service to transmit spam or unsolicited communications

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpressDocks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or purchase of products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, except as expressly stated in our product warranty. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Castle County, Delaware.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
