Every Waterfront
Built for Every Residential Waterfront
Lake Homes
Calm water, private use, seasonal or year-round. Single Frame is the ideal choice — delivers commercial-grade construction at residential scale.
Recommended: Single Frame
River & Tidal Properties
Moderate current, tidal variation, or elevation change from shore to water. A gangway is often needed to handle the drop. Both tiers work well here.
Recommended: Single Frame + Gangway
Saltwater & Exposed Bays
Rough water, wave action, saltwater corrosion, larger boats. Double Truss is engineered for these conditions — same system used in commercial marinas.
Recommended: Double Truss

Real Customers
Real Residential Builds
I got quotes from local dock builders and couldn't believe it — they wanted $150 a square foot for pressure-treated wood. ExpressDocks came in at half that price for a far superior aluminum system. And the installation was so straightforward it actually made me laugh. Best waterfront investment I've made.
We ordered over 35,000 square feet of dock for our 110-slip marina and the quality was bar none. I got estimates from local builders — they were offering inferior products at higher prices. What ExpressDocks delivered was on a completely different level.
Questions
Common Questions
How long does it take to get my dock?
We engineer your design in 48 hours. Production and shipping typically take 6–10 weeks depending on your location and configuration. We'll give you an exact timeline with your quote.
Do I need a contractor to install it?
No. Most residential docks are assembled by two people with basic hand tools — impact driver and wrenches. Your dock ships with a photo-documented assembly guide built from your exact design. Most buyers complete assembly in one day.
What's the difference between Single Frame and Double Truss?
Single Frame ($60/sqft) is our standard residential product — ideal for calm lakes, rivers, and protected bays. Double Truss ($75/sqft) has a reinforced frame for heavier loads, saltwater, exposed water, and larger boats. If you're on a rough or tidal waterfront, Double Truss is recommended.
Can I add a gangway later?
Yes. Gangways can be added at any time and are engineered to connect to your dock's structural tier. They're especially useful for properties with elevation changes, bulkheads, or significant tidal variation.
Does it work in saltwater?
6061-T6 aluminum is marine-grade and corrosion-resistant in saltwater. For saltwater or exposed coastal applications, we recommend the Double Truss tier for additional structural integrity.
What decking colors are available?
We offer 6 WPC composite decking colors: Teak, Walnut, Charcoal, Driftwood, Espresso, and Gray. All are UV-stable and marine-grade. Trex® decking is also available upon request.
